This is mostly a fitness and health website, but after visiting this place I couldn’t help posting this need find in France.

La Cave de Mougins is a place we visited with a good friend of mine, world tour cyclist David Tanner. This cave (or cellar) is situated in the small town of Mougins, just 30 minutes from Nice. Parking was relatively easy and free, and only a short walk to the old village. If you are in or around the city of Nice, I highly recommend you visit this place as it is unique and has some very rare fines especially if you’re a wine connoisseur.And we all know wine is good for your health and that it increases your so-called good cholesterol and provides polyphenols.

This place is surely a remnant of a medieval structure has you can see it has been reconstructed from very old stones. This certainly adds to its charm.

The covered patio has a roof of grape vines that were certainly very old.

Château Pavie is a winery in Saint-Émilion in the Bordeaux region of France. It lies on the plateau to the southeast of St Emilion village. In 2012 it was classified in the first rank of the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine, as a Premier Grand Cru Classé (A). And it dates back the Roman period of vineyards.

Château Mouton Rothschild is a wine estate located in the village of Pauillac in the Médoc, 50 km (30 mi) north-west of the city of Bordeaux, France. Its red wine of the same name is regarded[by whom?] as one of the world’s greatest clarets. Originally known as Château Brane-Mouton, it was renamed by Nathaniel de Rothschild in 1853 to Château Mouton Rothschild. You are not going to go wrong with this wine, compared to the Lafite, but its going to cost beaucoup!

This place was great in that it had fresh made food at a reasonable cost given the location of the cave.

This cave had crazy amounts of old wines that would probably be otherwise very difficult to find.

It is not difficult to see that this cave is hundreds of years old. And the temperature is constant as the thickness and depth keep it cool.
